LAUNCHING PEOPLE TOWARD NEW BRAVE IDEAS

My mission is to provide people new ideas and curiosity about the world — through my photography, writing, multimedia projects and teaching .

About me

For the past 11 years, I have been an instructor at the University of Kansas, teaching a bit of everything: photojournalism, introductory journalism and technology courses.

My writing appears in the Kansas Reflector as a weekly column. My commentary about politics, media, parenting and education has earned the top opinion writing award in Kansas twice.

As a photojournalist, I have worked as a staff photographer and free-lancer with my images appearing in national publications.

Through my work teaching multimedia journalism, I have experience with video and audio production plus website design.

But, that’s just a bit of my three decades of experience.

  • MULTIMEDIA

Some of my teaching at the University of Kansas focuses on multimedia skills. I’ve created video and audio projects as examples for my students — and for fun.
